POSSESSION NOTICE
Whereas, the Authorized Officer of Jammu & Kashmir Bank Limited under the Securitization and Reconstruction of Financial Assets and Enforcement of Security Interest (SARFAESI) Act, 2002 and in exercise of powers under section 13(2) of the said Act read with Rule 3 of the Security Interest (Enforcement) Rules 2002, issued Demand Notice dated 31.12.2024 thereby calling upon the Borrower Namely Mrs. Sujata Amol Shivtare to repay an amount of Rs 42,98,978.97 (Rupees Forty Two Lacs Ninety Eight Thousand Nine Hundred Seventy Eight and Paise Ninety Seven only) being the balance outstanding as on 30.12.2024 in the accounts of the Borrower, within 60 days from the date of the said notice together with the future interest and other charges thereon. The said borrower having failed to repay the said amount, notice is hereby given to the said borrower in particular and the public in general that the undersigned being authorized officer of the J & K Bank Ltd. has taken possession of the mortgage property described herein below, in exercise of the powers conferred under section 13 (4) of the said Act read with Rule 8 of the said Rules, on this the 19th day of May of the year 2025. The said borrower in particular and the public in general are hereby cautioned against dealing with the said property in any manner whatsoever and any dealings with the said property will be subject to the charge of the J&K Bank Limited for the amount in aggregating to Rs 44,09,757.39 (Rupees Forty Four Lacs Nine Thousand Seven Hundred Fifty Seven and Paise Thirty Nine only) together with future interest thereon from 01.05.2025 and other charges incurred or to be incurred.
The borrower's attention is invited to the provisions of Sub-section (8) of Section 13 of the Act, in respect of the time available, to redeem the secured assets.
